Rescue 34 was purchased new in 2005 and an all aluminum rescue box was manufactured and installed by Unruh Fire, located in Sedgwick, Kansas. Rescue 34 is one of four rescue squads located in Butler County and carries a full compliment of extrication tools and equipment as well as ice, cold water and high angle rescue equipment. It is also equipped with basic life support (BLS) medical equipment including an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Rescue 34 is first out for medical 1st responses, injury motor vehicle accidents (MVA's), and any other emergencies requiring a rescue response.
